【FAQ】
Q:Do I need to buy a high quality camera and recording equipment for the video?
A:Special equipment is not necessary to record your singing. Your smartphone or tablet is good enough for the recording.
Q:Could I use a karaoke track for the accompaniment?
A:We recommend the accompaniment to be by an acoustic musical instrument. There is no restriction to the type of instrument.
Q:Does transposing a song effect the results?
A:We do not allow transposing an oratorio or an aria, however, transposing an art song is allowed.
Q:Does folksong count as an art song?
A:If the folk song is composed by a specific composer, we will consider the application. Songs that are arrangements of folk songs by a specific composer also count as an art song.
Q:How many rounds are there at the competition?
A:There will be no rounds as the adjudicators will make their final decision from your performance video attached to your application form.
